2023 Tata Safari & Harrier Facelift Coming This Month

The homegrown passenger vehicle maker, Tata Motors is all set to showcase a wide range of SUVs and EVs at the 2023 Auto Expo. The company is also likely to showcase the updated versions of its existing SUVs including the Safari and the Harrier. In fact, the 2023 Tata Safari and the Harrier facelift have already been spotted testing multiple times on the Indian roads.

The new Tata Harrier facelift is expected to be launched by mid-2023, while the Safari facelift will go on sale before the end of this year. Both SUVs will receive cosmetic design changes and upgraded interior along with tech advancements. The biggest upgrade will come in the form of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).

2023 Tata Harrier Facelift

The ADAS tech will offer features like autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam, collision mitigation system,, driver monitoring system, and others. Both SUVs will come with tyre pressure monitoring system as well as Electronic stability control (ESC). Adding to it, the two SUVs will also feature 360 degree camera which should improve driving and parking in India easy.

The 2023 Tata Safari & Harrier facelift will come with heavily re-styled cabin. The dashboard layout is likely to remain the same with new colour theme. The central console will be dominated by a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay support and voice navigation. Both SUVs will come with connected car tech along with over-the-air (OTA) update. The SUVs will continue to offer panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, automatic air conditioning, powered driver seat and others.

In terms of styling, the 2023 Tata Safari & Harrier facelift will also come with design changes. It is likely to receive a revised front fascia, featuring a re-styled front grille & air dam with horizontal slats and integrated radar along with new headlamp setup. The SUV is also likely to get new set of alloy wheels.

Both SUVs will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that is capable of producing 168bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Tata Motors is also developing a new turbocharged petrol engine, which will first introduce in the Harrier SUV. However, the updated models will continue to be offered on the diesel engine option.
