The French automaker Citroen is all set to launch the automatic version of the C3 Aircross mid-sized SUV in the Indian market on January 29, 2024. Ahead of the launch, Citroen has started accepting pre-orders for the SUV. Interested buyers can book the Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic online or at authorised dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The automatic version of the C3 Aircross will be offered in two variants – Max and Plus. In terms of features, the SUV comes fitted with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a new 7-inch TFT display and reverse parking camera with sensors. The 7-seater SUV is equipped with roof-mounted rear AC vents, USB charging, rear wiper and washer, etc.
The SUV rides on 16-inch diamond cut alloys. It comes with front fog lamps, leather wrapped steering wheel, leatherette upholstery for door armrests, height adjustable headrests, rear centre armrest with cupholders in 5-seater, 6 speakers, etc. Also See – C3 Aircross Vs Carens Vs Ertiga
The Citroen C3 Aircross is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will be paired to a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox with a manual gear selector mode. This engine is tuned to develop 109bhp and 205Nm of torque. While the power figures are identical to the manual SUV, the torque has been increased from 190Nm to 205Nm.
The Citroen C3 Aircross AT will come as an affordable alternative to the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara and the Toyota Hyryder. The SUV is expected to be around Rs 1 lakh expensive than the manual versions.
