CFMoto has released a new teaser image, which confirms that the brand’s first BS6-compliant motorcycle will be launched soon in India. The first BS6 compliant motorcycle will be the CFMoto 300NK. The teaser gives a glimpse at the headlight of the naked streetfighter.
The CFMoto 300NK will be powered by a BS6-compliant 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The company will make necessory changes to this engine to make it compliant with the new, stringent emission norms. The power and torque numbers could witness a marginal decline. In the BS4 avatar, this powertrain produces 27.4bhp of power and 20.5Nm of torque. For transmitting power, the engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The motorcycle has a top speed of 139kmph.
In terms of proportions, the CFMoto 300NK is 1,990mm long, 780mm wide and 1,070mm tall and has a wheelbase of 1,360mm. The bike offers a seat height of 795mm, while the ground clearance is 150mm. The bike has a fuel capacity of 12.5-litres, while the curb weight stands at 151kg. The motorcycle gets disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS system. The suspension system will comprise of upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 110/70 section front and 140/60 section rear tyres.
In terms of styling, the upcoming CFMoto 300NK BS6 will look identical to the BS4 model. It comes with a muscular fuel tank, split-seats, an underbelly exhaust system, tyre hugger-mounted rear number plate, full-LED lighting and digital instrument console. The company could introduce new colour options and graphics to make the BS6 model different from the old bike.
The BS6 CFMoto 300NK is expected to be slightly expensive over the BS4 model. It is likely to be priced around Rs 2.4 lakh.
