2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan Launch, Price, Booking Details

Royal Enfield is all set to launch the updated Himalayan adventure tourer in coming weeks. Ahead of its official price announcement, the model has started reaching at dealerships across the country. In fact, the leaked information claims that its prices will start from Rs 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Official bookings will be commenced soon. We have seen the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan in multiple spy and leaked official pictures.

The bike’s updated model will come in three new paint schemes with contrast brown seat, namely, Granite Black, Mirage Silver and Pine Green. Reports suggest that the 2021 RE Himalayan will retain the Rock Red and Lake Blue shades from the existing colour palette. It will have high foam density seat for providing better comfort along with the Tipper navigation system.

Royal Enfield’s Tipper nav. Is a Google-powered turn-by-turn navigation system that was first introduced in the RE Meteor 350. The spy pictures confirm that the updated model has shorter front rack that has been placed a little forward. The rear carrier with a flat surface metal plate ensures more luggage space. No changes have been made to its design. Similar to the current model, the updated one features round headlamp, rear view mirrors, sculpted fuel tank, sleek turn indicators, upswept exhaust and slim tail section. For power, the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan continues to use the same 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The motor, with a 5-speed gearbox, pushes out a peak power of 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of torque between 4,000rpm – 4,500rpm.

The updated model retains the suspension setup and braking mechanism as well. It comes equipped with front and rear disc brakes and switchable ABS (anti-lock braking system). Dumping duties are taken care of by the same 41mm telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear.

In other news, Royal Enfield will soon introduce the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 with alloy wheels. The new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 has also been planned for this year.
