Tata HBX (Timero) AMT Spotted; Launch After New Safari

We have seen multiple spy pictures of the Tata HBX concept based mini SUV since its preview at the last year’s Auto Expo. Its AMT version, however, has been caught on camera for the first time. The latest interior picture confirms that the mini SUV will feature a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel similar to its concept. A 7.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system will also be retained.

Features such as instrument cluster, switchgear and front seats will be carried forward from the Altroz premium hatchback. In fact, the Tata HBX will share its platform (Alfa) with the Altroz. Design of the new Tata mini SUV will share resemblance with the Harrier, especially the front end. The model will carry the brand’s signature ‘Humanity Line’ grille, dual-tone bumper and split headlamps with LED DRLs. The test mule was equipped with Duralloy wheels, which are offered on the Tiago’s mid-level variants. The alloy wheels could be reserved for the higher trims.
