TVS Motor Company has launched the new BS6 version of the TVS Zest 110 scooter. The new scooter is available at a price tag of Rs 58460 (ex-showroom, Chennai). It is offered in 2 variants – Himalayan High Series and Matte Series – and in total of 6 colors – Red, Blue, Purple, Black, Yellow and Turquoise Blue. It also comes equipped with ET-Fi (Ecothrust Fuel Injection) technology.
TVS claims that the ET-Fi technology in the BS6 TVS Zest 110 ensures long-lasting, trouble-free and comfortable ride experience for customers. The scooter is now claimed to return higher fuel efficiency and better performance. The company stated that “the ET-Fi technology provides enhanced overall performance across driveability, smoothness, and fuel economy.”
For people not in the know, the TVS Zest 110 was the first 110cc scooter to reach the Khargung La. The scooter comes equipped with under-seat storage of 19-litres, LED tail-lamps, front daytime running lights, and twilight lamps. The scooter features durable tubeless tyres, which is claimed to offer excellent grip even on slippery surfaces. The scooter boasts enhanced ET-Fi equipped engine and a top-notch overall ride handling.
Powering the BS6-compliant TVS Zest 110 is a 110cc engine that is capable of producing 7.64bhp of power and 8.8Nm of torque. The scooter has wider seat along with easy to use centre stand that offers maximum comfort to the rider. For suspension duties, the scooter gets telescopic front forks and hydraulic rear mono-shock.
