The Bolero has been one of the best-selling products for Mahindra since its arrival in 2020. Despite being the oldest model in the Mahindra line-up, it manages to outsmart all the current SUVs of the homegrown automaker in terms of sales. The same thing happens in the month of March, as it retains the top-spot in the list of top-selling Mahindra cars in India.

The Mahindra Bolero enjoys huge popularity in rural and semi-urban pockets of the country. The SUV has always been favoured for its rugged body-built, practicality and fuel efficiency. Mahindra sold 9,546 units of the Bolero in the month of March 2023 as against 6,924 units in the same month last year. It reports a year-on-year sales growth of 38 per cent, which is phenomenal.
Mahindra sold 8,788 units of the Scorpio (Scorpio-N + Scorpio Classic) in March 2023 as against 6,061 units in the same month last year. It reported a YoY sales growth of 45%. In fact, it is the best-selling model in the segment beating the likes of Tata Harrier + Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector twins and others.
Interestingly, Mahindra reported a significant sales growth for the XUV300 compact SUV. The company sold 5,128 units of the XUV300 last month, an YoY sales growth of 24%. On the other hand, the XUV700 sales declined by 15% to 5,107 units in March 2023 as against 6,040 units in the same month last year. Mahindra also managed to sell over 5,000 units of the Thar lifestyle SUV last month with a 29% YoY sales growth. Mahindra sold 1909 and 490 units of the XUV400 and Marazzo respectively in March 2023.
