BMW G310 RR Launched At Rs 2.85 Lakh – 20K More Than Apache RR310

BMW Motorrad has finally launched the new fully-faired BMW G310 RR motorcycle in the Indian market. Joining the G310R and the G310 GS, the new G310 RR is the brand’s third model in the entry-level category. Priced at Rs 2.85 lakh, the new BMW G310RR is around 20,000 expensive than the TVS Apache RR 310 that is tagged at Rs 2.65 lakh.

The new BMW G310 RR directly rivals the Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC 390 and the TVS Apache RR 310. Interested buyers can book the new motorcycle online or at authorised BMW Motorrad dealerships across India. BMW is also giving 3 finance options – Standard, Balloon and Bullet. Montly EMI plans for the new G310RR starts at Rs 3,999 and the maximum loan tenure is set at 84 months.

BMW G310 RR Specs

The new BMW G310 RR is available in two colour options – White and Black. The new motorcycle looks largely identical to the Apache 310; however, it gets BMW-specific graphics and styling cues. It features a dual headlamp setup, compact rear view mirrors integrated into the front cowl, and windscreen to counter the wind-blast. The motorcycle has low-set, pulled-back handlebar and rear-set foot pegs for sporty riding stance. The fuel tank shape is similar to the Apache RR 310. It gets split-seat design, upswept exhaust and elevated tail.

The new BMW G310 RR features USD front forks finished in golden, and monoshock at the rear. It gets a 5-inch FTF instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth connectivity, rider can access multiple features like call alerts, message notifications and turn-by-turn navigation.

The motorcycle comes with 300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). Powering the BMW G310RR is a 312.2cc liquid-cooled, reverse inclined motor engine that also powers the Apache RR310. Paired to a 6-speed gearbox, this engine produces 34PS of power and 27.3Nm of torque. It has assist and slipper clutch, and 4 riding modes – Sport, Track, Rain and Urban Mode. With Rain and Urban Mode, the power and torque output drops to 25.8PS and 25Nm respectively.

The motorcycle is claimed to offer a maximum speed of 160kmph in Track & Sport Mode. The top speed is limited to 125kmph in Rain & Urban mode. It has a kerb weight of 174kgs and offers a seat height of 811mm. The motorcycle has a usable fuel tank of 11-litres. It rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 110/70 and 150/60 section tyres at front and rear respectively.
