BMW G 310 RR Prices, Specs, Key Features – Explained

BMW G 310 RR has finally been launched in India. The bike’s model lineup comes in two variants – Standard and Style Sport – which are priced at Rs 2.85 lakh and Rs 2.99 lakh respectively (all, ex-showroom). The basic difference between both variants is the colour option. While the Standard version comes in Cosmic Black paint scheme, the Style Sport model is available in Polar White with Racing Blue and Racing Red.

Compared to its naked version and TVS Apache RR 310, the Standard variant of the BMW bike is around Rs 20,000 more expensive. Its top-end Style Sport model costs Rs 14,000 premium over the entry-level variant. It’s essentially BMW’s version of the TVS Apache RR310 with minor cosmetic changes.

Talking about difference, the new BMW bike comes in different colour options and have Michelin Pilot Street tyres instead of the Michelin Road 5 units. The petal-type discs are replaced with the conventional brake rotors. The bike features BMW badge on the fairing. Its TFT display has different graphics than the Apache. The unit supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also comes with the traction control, bi-directional quick-shifter and race telemetry.

No changes have been made to its engine. The new BMW G 310 RR comes with the same 313cc, single-cylinder motor paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The unit pushes out a peak power of 33.5bhp and 28Nm of torque. It offers four riding modes – Urban, Track, Rain and Sport. It can attain a claimed top speed of 166kmph. The bike accelerates 0 to 60kmph in 2.93 seconds.

The bike sits on the trellis frame and carries a weight of 174kg. It has been equipped with the upside fork and a monoshock suspension at the front and rear axle respectively. Braking system of the bike includes single disc brakes at both ends, which are further assisted by dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
