BMW C 400 GT Performance Maxi-Scooter Launched At Rs 9.95 Lakh

BMW Motorrad has finally launched the C 400 GT maxi-scooter in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 9.95 lakh, the new BMW C 400 GT is the most powerful and most expensive scooter in the Indian market.

The BMW C 400 GT is offered in two colour options – Alpine White and Style Triple Black. The scooter comes with a standard warranty for ‘three years, unlimited kilometers’, with an option to extend the warranty to fourth and fifth year. The company is also offering road-side assistance, a 24×7 365 days package.

BMW C 400 GT India Launch

Powering the new BMW C 400 GT is a newly developed 350cc, water-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine is capable of producing 34bhp of power at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 35Nm at 5,750Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 9.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of over 139kmph.

The BMW C 400 GT has full LED headlamps, large windshield, upswept exhaust and large grab rails. It comes with keyless ride, big under-seat storage, USB charging socket and TFT screen that displays multiple information including navigational directions. It also supports BMW Motorrad Connectivity Suit to access smart features such as music, make/receive calls, etc. In the international markets, the scooter also comes with optional features like heated grips, heated seat and anti-theft alarm system. The C 400 GT has telescopic front forks and double aluminium swingarm type rear suspension with double spring struts. Braking system comprises of double disc brakes at the front and single disc brake at the rear along with ABS system.
