Maruti’s ace subcompact SUV, Vitara Brezza is the second best mileage SUV in India. The SUV was launched in India last year with a diesel engine only, missing out on the petrol unit. Powered by the tried and tested 1.3-litre oil burner sourced from Fiat, Vitara Brezza makes top power of 88.5bhp at 4000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1750rpm. In terms of fuel economy, the SUV delivers claimed mileage of 24.3kmpl as rated by ARAI. The SUV which is available only with a manual variant in diesel guise will soon receive a petrol engine.
