Benelli TRK 251 Adventure Bike Bookings Open; KTM 250 ADV Rival

Italian two-wheeler maker, Benelli is getting aggressive with its product strategy for the Indian market. The company is now ready to launch an all-new Benelli TRK 251, which will be the brand’s most affordable bike in the country. Interested buyers can pre-book the new Benelli TRK 251 online or at authorized dealership at a token amount of Rs 6,000.

The new TRK 251 Adventure motorcycle will be powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, double overhead camshaft motor. This is the same engine that powers the Leoncino 250 in the international markets. It is capable of producing 25.8bhp of power at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 21.1Nm at 8,000rpm. This engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

Based on the steel trellis frame, the new Benelli TRK 251 has USD front forks and T-swingarm tyre rear shock absorber. For braking system, the bike gets 280mm single disc with 4-piston callipers at front and 240mm single disc with single piston calliper at rear. The Adventure bike will ride on 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels shod with 110/70 and 150/60 section front and rear tyres respectively.

The new Benelli TRK 251 ADV will come in 3 colour options – Glossy White, Glossy Black and Glossy Grey. The motorcycle shares styling cues from the bigger TRK 502 and 502X. It gets dual LED headlamp with LED DRL, fairing mounted LED turn signals, split seats, sculpted fuel tank and upswept exhaust.

The motorcycle has large curved windscreen, and dedicated rack at the rear for mounting top and side panniers. It gets fully digital instrument console with LCD screen that shows information such as speed, rpm, fuel level, gear position, time and trip meter.

The TRK 251 ADV has a low seat height of 800mm and a large 18-litre fuel tank. For comfortable ride, the motorcycle gets wide and tall handlebar, contoured seats and centrally positioned footpegs. Benelli is offering 3-Year Unlimited Kilometres Warranty as Standard.
