2022 Maruti Ertiga Facelift – Key Changes (Expected)

Maruti Suzuki has started testing the Ertiga facelift that’s slated to arrive sometime next year. The first spy images of the MPV’s updated model recently emerged on the web revealing some of its interesting design details. Here’re key changes which are expected to be made to the 2022 Maruti Ertiga facelift.

– Minimal design changes are likely to be made at its front end. The MPV will feature a slightly tweaked grille, while the twin-pod headlamp clusters, bumper and fog lamp assembly seem to be carried over from the current model. In fact, the set of alloy wheels, rear bumper and rear section will remain unchanged.

– Interior details of the new 2022 Maruti Ertiga facelift are still under the wraps. Though, it’s expected to receive new upholstery and trims along with a bunch of new features. The MPV will continue to come with 7-seats configuration.

– Engine setup might also remain intact. The new Maruti Ertiga 2022 could be offered with the same 1.5L petrol engine benefited with the mild hybrid technology. The motor has been tuned for generating power worth 105bhp and 138Nm of torque. Similar to the existing model, the updated one will continue to come with the 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options. – The 2022 Maruti Ertiga model lineup will be spread across four trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. With subtle cosmetic and feature upgrades, the facelifted model is likely to witness minor price hike. At present, the MPV comes in the price range of Rs 7.96 lakh – Rs 10.69 lakh (all, ex-showroom). There are VXi and two automatic variants that cost Rs 9.66 lakh, Rs 9.96 lakh and Rs 10.69 lakh respectively. The updated Ertiga is expected to be priced around Rs 8 lakh for the entry-level variant and up to Rs 10.75 lakh for the fully-loaded variant.
