Bajaj Auto is planning to expand its product line-up in the country. The company is currently selling a wide range of IC engines equipped motorcycles including Pulsar range, Chetak and others. The homegrown two-wheeler has trademarked two new names – FLUOR and FLUIR.
The new names sound similar and could preview the brand’s upcoming two-wheeler. It is quite early to comment on the new product. The trademark application reveals that the new names are reserved for automobiles, land vehicles, two-wheelers, motorcycles, scooters, three-wheelers, EVs, etc.
The new names could be used for an electric 2-wheeler, probably an electric motorcycle. The FLUIR is a Spanish word, which refers to ‘Flow’ (of a stream). However, details about the same are yet to be revealed.
Bajaj Auto might not use the names for the conventional IC engine motorcycles, as the brand already has five sub-brands and sells multiple new motorcycles. It is expected that Bajaj will only introduce new models under these brands.
Bajaj Auto is readying a new Pulsar range, which is scheduled to be launched in the end of 2021. The company will introduce the new Pulsar 250 motorcycle, which will rival the Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250. The new Pulsar range will also comprise of a new Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 180.
