Audi e-tron SUV Coming Soon – 9 Important Details

Audi India is gearing up to launch the e-tron SUV in coming months. Ahead of its official arrival, the German carmaker has listed the model on its official website. The Audi e-tron will be the brand’s first all-electric SUV in the country.

– Dimensionally, the upcoming Audi eSUV measures 4901mm in length that makes it longer than the Q5 (4663mm) and shorter than the Q7 (5052mm). Read – All-New Audi A3, Q3 India Launch Details Out

– For power, the e-tron uses two 125kW and 140kW electric motors fitted at the front and rear axles respectively. The setup delivers a claimed combined power output of 402bhp and 664Nm of torque. The SUV comes with the AWD (all-wheel-drive) system).

– The electric SUV also has a 95kW battery pack fitted below the cabin. It can be charged via regenerative braking technology.

– It’s claimed to attain a top speed of 200kmph and offer a range of over 400km (on the WLTP test cycle).

– Interior of the upcoming Audi e-tron comes with a host of features including a multi-function steering wheel, premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, four zone climate control, multiple touchscreens, ambient lighting, power modes, a panoramic sunroof, regenerative braking, blind spot monitoring and many more.

– The e-tron Launch Edition, which is retailed globally, has been packed with some exclusive features such as privacy glass extending from the B-pillar rearwards, a 360 degree camera, electric steering wheel adjustment, premium grade Valcona hide, a panoramic glass sunroof, camera based traffic sign recognition and a comfort remote preconditioning system.

– The Audi e-tron carries a newly-designed, blacked out front grille with vertical grey slats, which is flanked by matrix LED headlamps and DRLs.

– Some of its key design elements include 20.5-inch spole alloy wheels, a sloping roofline, an LED bar across the boot, sharply designed taillamps running across the tailgate.
