Audi India has officially started accepting pre-orders for the soon-to-be-launched Audi e-Tron GT in the Indian market. The new electric four-door coupe is reportedly to be launched in the Indian market in the month of October 2021. The company has also released a teaser image, which reveals the rear profile of the Coupe.
The 2021 Audi e-Tron GT 4-door coupe is expected to be offered in two variants – S and RS. The e-Tron GT S and RS come equipped with an 85kWh battery pack, offering a certified range of 488km and 472km respectively. The e-Tron S electric coupe features a 238bhp and a 435bhp electric motors fitted at the front and rear axles respectively. The new performance-oriented electric coupe is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 4.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 245kmph.
The RS trim is a more powerful version of the e-coupe. It comes with a more powerful rear electric motor that offers 598bhp and 830Nm of torque. With boost mode on, the electric motor power will go up to 646bhp. The new Audi e-Tron GT RS accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in just 3.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250kmph.
The electric coupe features a 2-speed gearbox, which sends the power to the rear electric motor. The gearbox has a short ratio first and long ratio second gear for achieving higher fuel efficiency and high-speed performance. It comes with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Talking about features, the new Audi e-Tron GT gets a single 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, connected car technology and multiple advanced driver assistance system.
