All-New Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Tripper Navigation, New Platform, Engine

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch a new range of motorcycles including the new-gen RE Classic 350 in the Indian market. The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to be launched in the next few months, as the motorcycle has been caught testing numerous times in production avatar.

– The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will come with new digital-analogue instrument console, which is expected to show many more information than the existing bike’s console.

– The motorcycle will also receive the Royal Enfield Tripper navigation system, which we have already seen on the new Meteor 350 and the 2021 Himalayan. The Tripper navigation system is jointly developed by RE and Google, and it works by pairing the smartphone via Bluetooth along with the Royal Enfield application.

RE Classic 350 Dual-Channel

– The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be developed on the RE’s new J platform that also underpins the Meteor 350. This platform is stronger and offers better stability and less vibrations compared to the previous platform. It is a twin-downtube platform, which makes the new Meteor around 6kgs lighter than the Thunderbird 350X. The Thunderbird 350X and the current RE Classic 350 are based on the single-cradle chassis.

– Royal Enfield will also add a balancer shaft to reduce the vibrations, which will improve the overall riding experience.

– The new Classic will have 300mm front disc with twin piston floating caliper and 270mm rear disc with single piston floating caliper. It will also get a dual-channel ABS system.

– The motorcycle will ride on 19-inch front wheels and 18-inch rear wheels. It will get telescopic front forks and twin gas charged shock absorbers at the rear.

– The motorcycle will be powered by a 349cc, fuel-injected engine that churns out a maximum power output of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm.

– The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will retain the original classic-look. It will get new fuel tank and alloys, revised tail-lams and exhaust system, etc. Design bits such as retro-styled blinkers, round headlamps and chrome-plated rear view mirrors will be carried over from the current generation.
