HUD Display
Heads-Up Display (HUD) is now available in cars like Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Brezza and Kia Seltos. The unit, which is fitted in the driver’s line of sight, displays information on the windscreen. It enables driver to access all the important information without looking down at the instrument cluster, thus reduces distraction. Panoramic Sunroof
Sunroof is one of the most trending features in cars these days. It comes as an optional feature on many vehicles. Unlike the mono sunroof, the panoramic sunroof can be opened at a wider angle. It’s essentially a large glass window on the roof that makes you feel like driving in a convertible. It doesn’t have moving parts. Panoramic sunroof is currently offered in models like Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and Safari, MG Hector/Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, Jeep Compass, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder.
Ventilated Seats
Ventilated seats have a forced air circulation system inside that direct air supply through holes to provide cooling effect on the body of the driver or co-passenger with immediate effect. It’s one of the trending features in cars that’s very useful during summer. 360 degree camera
A 360 degree camera is one of the most useful and trending features in cars. It provides of surroundings and enables the driver to park the vehicle safely. The setup includes multiple cameras (usually for – on front and rear bumpers and one each under the side mirrors) fitted around the car and paired together with a software that renders the surrounding in rear-time. Today, we have several cars offering a 360 degree camera including Maruti Baleno, Kia Seltos, MG Astro, Hyundai Alcazar, Nissan Kicks, Mahindra XUV700 and Jeep Compass.
Wireless Charging
In-car wireless charging feature got popularity in recent times. The system has an embedded component installed inside the vehicle for charging smartphones or any Qi-enabled device wirelessly. It’s available in models like Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Aura, i20, Venue, Kia Sonet and Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and more.
