5 New Motorcycles To Be Launched In February 2021

In February, we will witness the launch and unveiling of some new exciting motorcycles. While Honda will give a new motorcycle in the 350cc category, Triumph will bring the much-anticipated Trider 660. Here is a list of top exciting new motorcycles to be launched in February 2021 –

1. Honda CB350 Scrambler

Honda has now officially released a new teaser image of a motorcycle, which is scheduled to be launched on February 16, 2021. The new bike is expected to be a Cafe racer based on the new CB350. Similar to the Classic, the new Cafe Racer will use the locally developed 350cc engine producing 21bhp of power and 30Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It will be sold through Honda’s premium dealership network, called the Big Wing. It is likely to get clip-on handlebars for sportier look and forward-biased riding position, new graphics, cafe racer-type single-piece seat, differently styled rear profile and black treatment instead of silver finish on cycle parts.

2. Triumph Trident 660 & Tiger Sport 850

Triumph is all set to introduce its most affordable motorcycle, the Trident 660 in February. The new entry-level Triumph Trident 660 will be launched in India as a CKD unit in 2021. Expected to be priced around Rs 7 lakh, the upcoming Trident 660 will directly rival the Kawasaki Z650 in India. It is powered by a 660cc liquid-cooled, inline 3-cylinder engine that produces 80bhp of power and 64Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Triumph claims that the 660cc motorcycle has an impressive service interval of 16,000km.

The new Triumph Tiger 850 Sport will replace the company’s entry-level Tiger 900. The motorcycle is expected to priced around Rs 12 lakh. It is powered by the 888cc triple engine that produces 85PS of power at 8,500rpm and 82Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.

3. 2021 RE Himalayan

The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan will be launched in the country in February. The motorcycle has already been leaked on the internet. Rumoured to be priced around Rs 2.51 lakh, the new RE Himalayan 2021 will come equipped with Tripper Navigation. It will be offered in 3 new colours –  Mirage Silver, Pine Green and Granite Black. It will continue to be powered by a 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 5-speed gearbox. The motor delivers a peak power of 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque.

4. 2021 Jawa 42 Black Edition

It is reported that Jawa will introduce the updated version of the Forty Two motorcycle, which has already been caught testing multiple times. The updated model will receive black treatment in the form of blacked-out alloys, headlamp, turn indicator housings, exhaust pipe and suspension system. Instead of chrome, the cycle parts are painted in black. It gets new single-piece grab rail for the pillion, new seat upholstery and a short flyscreen. The bike will continue to use the same BS6, 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor pushing out a peak power of 26.5bhp and 27Nm of torque.

5. 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa

Suzuki has teased the 2021 Hayabusa via its social media platforms. The motorcycle will make global debut on February 5, 2021, while launch will take place in July. It will be introduced as CBU and is expected to be priced around Rs 20-22 lakh. The motorcycle will receive sharper headlamp, a flatter tail-section with LED tail-light and new body graphics. The bike is expected to come with a comprehensive suite of electronics. It is likely to feature the same 1,340cc inline-4 cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine that produces 195PS and 155Nm of torque.
