The next generation of the Maruti Swift is ready for its global debut on 26th October 2023 in Japan. The automaker, however, released official pictures revealing its design changes, which are inspired by the Baleno hatch. With the generational shift, the Swift and Dzire are set to make substantial advancements in terms of design, features, and efficiency. The foundation of both models will rest upon the modified Heartect platform, and these will be equipped with a brand-new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine, further enhanced by Toyota’s robust hybrid technology. Reports from the media indicate that the 2024 Maruti Swift and Dzire are expected to achieve remarkable fuel efficiency, estimated at an impressive 35-40kmph. Maruti eVX Electric SUV
Maruti Suzuki eVX concept based electric SUV will be first born-electric car from the Indo-Japanese automaker in the country. It’s surely one of the highly-anticipated upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in India. The model’s close-to-production version will debut at the upcoming 2023 Tokyo Motor Show, and its India launch is likely to happen sometime in 2025 (potentially in January or February 2023). This groundbreaking electric SUV, developed in collaboration with Toyota, will be constructed on the innovative born electric platform. The Maruti eVX electric SUV is projected to have dimensions of 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width, and 1600mm in height, all while resting on a 2700mm wheelbase. While specific technical details are still held under wraps, it is expected that the EV will feature a substantial 60kWh battery pack, delivering an impressive range of 500km on a single charge. Internally referred to as the Maruti Y17, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki three-row SUV is set to be constructed using the Global C platform, the very foundation that supports the Grand Vitara. Production for this exciting Maruti SUV will be centered at the newly established Kharkhoda facility in Haryana, serving as a production hub. Presently, information remains somewhat scarce; however, it is highly probable that the model will feature the 1.5L K15C petrol engine with mild hybrid technology and Toyota’s 1.5L Atkinson cycle petrol powertrains, both of which will be sourced from the Grand Vitara.
