New 2023 Tata Safari Facelift – Minor Design Changes, ADAS

Tata’s two popular SUVs – Harrier and Safari – are ready to receive major updates in early 2023. The company has been testing both models for a while and we got our hands on some interesting details. The 2023 Tata Safari facelift is likely to come with slightly improved design. Most of the cosmetic changes will be made at the front fascia. It will feature a new grille with silver finish holes and more circular headlamps with sharper LED DRLs. The carmaker might offer a couple of new colour schemes.

The new Safari facelift could be one of the first Tata cars to come with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). It will offer safety features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring system, front collision warning, collision mitigation system (CMS), driver monitoring system (DMS), lane departure warning system (LDWS), electronic stability control (ESC) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The SUV might also be equipped with a 360 degree camera. The touchscreen infotainment unit could be bigger than the existing one and support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Under the hood, the new 2023 Tata Safari facelift will employ the same 2.0L diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The motor delivers a claimed power of 168bhp and 350Nm of torque.
