Tata Nexon is all set to receive an update in coming months. In order to create excitement among buyers, the carmaker has started dropping teasers ahead of its market arrival. The facelifted model will come with noticeable interior and exterior updates. Rumour has it that the subcompact SUV could be offered with the new 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine pushing out a maximum power of 125bhp and 225Nm of torque. The SUV’s existing 1.2L turbo petrol motor delivers 120bhp. The new 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will continue to use the 1.5L diesel engine that’s good for 113bhp and 260Nm.
A latest YouTube video shows the new Nexon draped in camouflage revealing interesting interior details. The SUV’s new model gets the black finish dashboard and center console. What’s interesting here is the purple colour seats giving it a refreshing feel and appeal. One can also notice a new two-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls.

The new Tata Nexon has a bigger 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Features such as a 360 degree camera, ventilated front seats, a 7-inch instrument cluster, air purifier and a sunroof will also be on offer.
Significant cosmetic changes are expected. The new 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will derive some of its styling bits from the Currv Coupe SUV concept. Upfront, the SUV might feature an entirely new grille unit with diamond-shaped inserts, a flatter nose and a more upright stance. The headlamp clusters will be positioned slightly lower than the existing one.
Save for the newly-designed alloy wheels, the side profile is likely to remain unchanged. A few changes will also be made at the rear section. The new Nexon is expected to have tailgate with flatter design, slightly revised rear bumper and new Safari-inspired LED taillamps connected through LED light bar.
