Land Rover has revealed the new-generation Range Rover Sport SUV priced, which has been between $84,350 – $122,000. The new model comes with improved styling, more upmarket interior and powerful powertrain options. The new 2023 Range Rover Sport will be made available in S, SE, HSE and Autobiography variants. Its First Edition will be available throughout the first year of production with a bespoke specification. In the next couple of years, the company is likely to introduce the electrified Range Rover Sport.
Now, the SUV’s P510e PHEV variant comes with the brand’s 3.0-litre six-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine paired to a 105kW electric motor and a 38.2kWh battery. Its combined power and range stand at 510bhp and 740km (petrol + electric motor). It can accelerate 0 to 100kmph in 5.4 seconds and offer a range of up to 113km.
Land Rover says that the new Range Rover Sport can complete its 75% of journeys on electric power. The new Range Rover Sport P440e PHEV variant pushes out a total power of 440 bhp and delivers a driving range of 113km. It can do 100kmph from standstill in 5.8 seconds.
The new 2023 Range Rover Sport is also available with a new V8 Twin Turbo engine that’s good enough for 530bhp. It’s capable to do 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds with Dynamic Launch engaged. Engines including P360 and P400 mild-hybrid straight-six Ingenium petrol, and six-cylinder D250, D300, and D350 mild-hybrid diesel are also on offer. The SUV comes with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
