The Korean automaker, Kia had introduced the Seltos facelift on July 4, 2023. The prices of the new Seltos are likely to be revealed sometime later this month or in August 2023. Bookings for the 2023 Kia Seltos has also been started online or at authorised Kia dealerships in the country. Kia has also announced high-priority bookings via the ‘K-Code’ program which ensures shorter delivery time to all bookings done with K-code.
The K-code can be generated by existing Seltos owners from the Kia India website and ‘MyKia app to upgrade their Seltos or gift their K-code to other prospective customers. The exclusive K-code can only be applied to the bookings made through the Kia India website, and is only applicable on 14th July.
The 2023 Kia Seltos is available in three engine options – a 115bhp/144Nm, 1.5L NA petrol, a 115bhp/253Nm, 1.5L turbo diesel and a new 158bhp/263Nm, 1.5L turbo petrol. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic, a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The updated Seltos also comes with advanced driver assistance system with features like adaptive cruise control, intelligent speed limit assist, blind spot collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, and more. The SUV comes with a heavily revised interior with a completely new dashboard layout. It comes with a dual-screen setup – one for the instrument console and one for the infotainment screen. The SUV gets dual-zone climate control and a factory-fitted panoramic sunroof. Kia has also launched India-exclusive Pewter Olive colour in the new Seltos range.
In terms of styling, the SUV gets a new grille, larger bumper, revised headlamps with new daytime running lamps, and repositioned ‘Ice Cube’ LED fog lamp assembly with body-coloured inserts. It has new 18-inch dual-tone alloys, a revised rear bumper and L-shaped tail-lamps connected via an LED light bar.
