After introducing the new Dio H-Smart, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the new OBD2 compliant 2023 Unicorn at Rs 1,09,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2023 Honda Unicorn is available in 4 color options – Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic & Pearl Siren Blue.
The 2023 Honda Unicorn is powered by a BSVI OBD2 compliant 160cc PGM-FI engine that is claimed to offer greater performance and higher efficiency. This engine is capable of producing 12.9bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 5,500rpm, and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The powertrain is claimed to deliver good low-end torque and fuel efficiency. It also comes equipped with counterweight balancer which reduces vibrations and offers smooth acceleration from low to high rpm.
The 2023 Honda Unicorn comes equipped with a single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), and front & rear tubeless tyres. Based on the flexible diamond frame, the new motorcycle gets rear mono shock suspension unit. The new Unicorn has a ground clearance of 187mm and has a compact wheelbase of 1335mm. The motorcycle has chrome treatment on side cover, on front cowl and 3D Honda Wing mark on the fuel tank.
The 2023 Unicorn has a seat height of 715mm and a fuel tank of 13-litres capacity. The motorcycle weighs 140kg. The motorcycle gets disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Honda has also introduced a special warranty programme for the new Unicorn. It comes with a special 10 year warranty package including 3 years standard & 7 years optional extended warranty.
