2023 Honda City Facelift Leaked – More Details Emerge

Honda is all set to launch the facelifted versions of the new City facelift on March 2, 2023. Ahead of the launch, clear pictures of the 2023 Honda City facelift have been leaked on the Internet. The leaked pictures give us a clear look at the updated midsize sedan. The new model will rival the likes of the VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Maruti Ciaz and the upcoming new-gen Hyundai Verna.

The new model comes with cosmetic design changes. It features a slightly revised bumper and a slimmer chrome bar for the grille section. The leaked pictures also reveal that the sedan will have a new blue paint shade. The side profile looks largely identical to the existing model. At the back, the 2023 Honda City facelift has new bumpers and re-positioned reflectors.

Interior Changes

The 2023 Honda City facelift appears similar to the existing model. It will come with new features such as wireless charger and ventilated seats. The new City sedan won’t be offered with a diesel engine option, as the current 1.5L engine won’t be upgraded to meet the upcoming Real Driving Emissions (RDE) norms. The current petrol and petrol hybrid powertrains will be updated to meet the RDE norms along with the E20 (20 percent ethanol blend) compliance.

The 2023 Honda City will be powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. The strong hybrid version will have a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine with Honda’s e:HEV hybrid tech. This engine produces a combined power output of 126bhp.
