Bajaj Auto has launched the 2023 iteration of the Pulsar NS160 & NS200 naked streetfighter in the country. The new 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is now available at a price tag of Rs 1,34,675 (ex-showroom Delhi), which makes it Rs 9,651 more expensive than the 2022 model. It is around Rs 5,030 pricier than the Pulsar N160. The new Pulsar NS200 is available at a price tag of Rs 147,347 (ex-showroom), making it Rs 6,681 more expensive than the 2022 model.
The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 & NS200 come fitted with a 33mm USD (Upside Down Fork) front fork. It comes with circular discs and Grimeca callipers instead of the Petal disc brakes and Bybre callipers. The size of the front disc has been increased from 260mm to 300mm. It is similar in size to the one offered in the NS250 and F250. A dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) is offered as standard.
Powering the motorcycle is a 160.3cc single-cylinder engine that produces 17.2PS and 14.6Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This powertrain is now compliant with BS6 Phase 2 emission norms and is now E20 fuel ready. The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is powered by the same 199cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 24.5PS and 18.5Nm of torque.
The motorcycle rides on new 17-inch alloys, which are lighter by a kilo. The wheels are wrapped with wider 100/80 and 130/70 section MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres at the front and rear respectively. The motorcycle weight is increased by a kilo, as it weighs 152kg.
The motorcycle also comes with an updated semi-digital instrument console, which now comes with a gear position indicator along with all the features seen on the previous model. It still misses out on smartphone connectivity and navigation.
