The new Audi Q3 Sportback has finally been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 51.43 (ex-showroom, India). Interested buyers can book the new Sportback online or at authorised dealerships by paying a sum of Rs 2 lakh. It is essentially a coupe version of the regular Audi Q3 SUV.
The new Audi Q3 Sportback is available in a single top-spec Technology trim, which makes it around 6.54 lakh costlier than the standard Q3 SUV (priced between Rs 44.89 lakh and Rs 50.39 lakh). The Sportback shares the engine-gearbox combination with the standard model. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 190bhp and a peak torque of 320Nm.
A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission comes as standard, and the power is transmitted to all-4 wheels via Audi’s Quattro AWD system. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 7.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 220kmph.
The new 2023 Audi Q3 Sportback is being offered in five different colour options, namely, Chronos Grey, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White and Turbo Blue. There are two interior colour options – Pearl Beige and Okapi Brown. The new SUV gets S-line styling pack as standard. The front fascia of the coupe SUV has a large hexagonal grille with honeycomb pattern, and triangular-shaped air intakes with a silver finish. The SUV rides on 10-spoke, 18-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of proportions, the new Audi Q3 Sportback is 4,518mm long, 1,843mm wide & 1,558mm tall. It is 36mm longer, 6mm narrower and 49mm shorter than the Q3 SUV. It shares the cabin with the regular model. In terms of features, the Q3 Sportback has an 8.9-inch infotainment system with MMI navigation, digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, dual zone AC, connected car tech, an Audi Smartphone interface, Audi sound system, powered front seats and ambient lighting will be on offer.
