2022 Yamaha FZS 25 Price Rs 1.43 Lakh – 2 New Colours

Yamaha Motor Company today has rolled out the updated FZS 25 motorcycle in the country. The new version has been priced at Rs 1,43,300, thus making it Rs 2,000 more expensive than the old model. The 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 has been offered with two new colour schemes, namely, Matte Black and Matte Copper. Both shades come as replacements to the White, Blue and Green paint schemes. The model lineup, however, retained the Metallic Black and Racing Blue colours. These are continued to be priced at Rs 1,38,800 One must note that all aforementioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 Matte Copper variant has contrasting black highlights, while the Matte Black model features pinstrips and ‘FZS 25’ logo in gold finish. Both variants have been assembled with gold finished alloy wheels. No other changes have been made to the new Yamaha FZS 25. Its new colour variants are powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine making 20.8PS and 20.2Nm. The motor comes with a 5-speed gearbox.

Talking about Yamaha’s future plan, the Japanese two-wheeler maker is ready to unveil its new electric scooters for the Asian and European markets. The new models will debut sometime this year. The new Yamaha electric scooters are reported to be based on the E01 and E02 concepts that broke cover at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. While the former is said to offer performance equivalent to a 125cc petrol scooter, the latter will be similar to a 50cc petrol scooter.

Both models have lightweight body built with removable and swappable battery. The Yamaha E01 is a maxi-scooter with Bridestone slick tyres and sporty seats. The company will also introduce new medium-size motorcycles in March 2022. These models will be sold in markets like Europe, Japan, China, Thailand and Indonesia. In India, Yamaha will introduce 125cc scooter and 150cc-250cc motorcycles in the next 5 years.
