Audi India has confirmed that will announce prices of the updated Q7 SUV on 3rd February 2022. Here, it will continue to take on the Volvo XC90, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. The new 2022 Audi Q7 comes with improved styling, more features and a petrol engine only. The facelifted model lineup will be sold in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. Both trims will be powered by a 3.0L turbocharged V6 petrol engine delivering power worth 340bhp and 500Nm of torque. The motor comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Audi’s Quattro AWD system.
The 7-seater SUV gets a newly-designed dashboard with Audi’s twin-touchscreen MMI infotainment system instead of the single, free-standing unit. The info system has 10.1-inch and 8.6-inch displays and supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The latter for the climate controls. The SUV features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, four zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, virtual cockpit digital dials powered front seats, adjustable ambient lighting, cabin with piano black and brushed aluminum highlights and adaptive air suspension. Buyers will get a rear seat entertainment package as an optional offering.
The front styling appears more aggressive with a larger, octagonal single-frame grille, sportier bumper with large air dams with massive cladding and sleeker LED headlamps with new LED DRLs. The new 2022 Audi Q7 facelift has been assembled with the new 19-inch silver alloy wheels. Its rear section has been revised with the newly-designed, wider taillamp clusters, which are connected via a chrome strip.
While its overall width and height remain unchanged, the SUV gets 11mm longer. The updated model measures 5063mm in length, 1970mm in width and 1741mm in height. Similar to the pre-facelift, the new model will come in 5 different colours – Orca Black Metallic, Carrara White, Galaxy Blue Metallic, Floret Silver Metallic and Samurai Gray Metallic.
