2022 Toyota Innova Crysta Gets 2 New Base Variants; Prices Increased

Japanese automaker, Toyota has launched two new base variants of the Innova Crysta – GX (-) Petrol MT 7-seater and GX (-) Petrol MT 8-seater in the Indian market. While the former is available at a price tag of Rs 16.89 lakh, the 8-seater variant costs Rs 16.94 lakh.

The GX trim comes equipped with some basic features such as manual air conditioning with rear AC vents, smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) and Hill Start Assist Control. The new GX (-) variants misses out on some of these features. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.

2021 Innova Crysta facelift

The company has increased the prices of the standard GX petrol manual transmission by Rs 12,000. The GX MT 7 seater and 8-seater are now priced at Rs 17.30 lakh and Rs 17.35 lakh respectively. The VX MT 7-seater variant price has been increased by 33,000, and is now tagged at Rs 20.59 lakh.

The Innova Diesel G MT 7-seater price has been raised by 24,000 and is now priced at Rs 18.18 lakh. The VX and ZX trims are now pricier by Rs 33,000. The top-spec ZX MT 7-seater now priced at Rs 24.12 lakh. The Innova Crysta petrol automatic price has been increased by Rs 12,000, and now costs Rs 18.66 lakh. The range-toping ZX AT 7-seater now priced at Rs 23.47 lakh, which is an increase of Rs 33,000.

2020 Toyota Innova Crysta Price

The Toyota Innova diesel automatic range now starts at Rs 20.42 lakh, which is an increase of 12,000. The range-topping diesel ZX AT 7-seater is now priced at Rs 25.32 lakh, receiving a price hike of Rs 33,000.

The Innova Crysta petrol is powered by a 2.7-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing 164bhp of power at 5,200rpm and a peak torque of 245Nm at 4,000rpm. The diesel version gets a 2.4-litre turbo engine that pushes out 148bhp and 343Nm (MT)/ 360Nm (AT). Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
