India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Wagon R for the fleet operators. Called the WagonR Tour H3, the new model is offered in two variants – petrol and CNG. While the Tour H3 petrol is priced at Rs 5.39 lakh, the CNG version costs Rs 6.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Maruti Suzuki WagonR Tour H3 is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, K10C petrol engine that is capable of producing 64bhp of power at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 89Nm at 3,500rpm. The CNG version gets the same powertrain along with a factory fitted CNG kit. The CNG version churns out 56bhp of power at 5,300rpm and a peak torque of 82Nm at 3,400rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels will come as standard.
The petrol powered WagonR Tour H3 returns a fuel efficiency of 25.40kmpl, while the CNG model is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 34.73km/kg. It is offered in two colour options – Superior White and Silky Silver.
The hatchback gets body coloured bumpers, wheel centre cap & blacked-out ORVMs, outside door handles and grille. It gets dual tone interiors, front cabin lamps, driver side sunvisor with ticket holder and front & rear headrest. It gets front power windows with side auto down function, manual AC, rear parcel tray, reclining & front sliding seats, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, speed limiting function, rear parking sensors & central door locking.
