2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 To Come In 4 variants; 6AT, New Engine

Maruti Suzuki has started accepting pre-bookings for the new XL6 facelift, which is scheduled to be launched on April 21, 2022. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 will come with cosmetic design changes, upgraded cabin and a new engine option. Ahead of the official launch, variant details of the new XL6 has been leaked on the Internet.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is reportedly to be offered in two trims – Zeta and Alpha – and in total of 4 variants. Both trims will be offered with manual and automatic gearbox options. In the near future, the SUV XL6 could also get a CNG fuel option. MSIL has announced that all the NEXA cars will receive CNG fuel option in the near future.

2022 Suzuki XL6 360 degree camera

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be powered by a new 1.5-litre K15C DualJet petrol engine, which will also power the new Brezza and the Ciaz. The new engine is expected to produce around 115bhp, which is around 10bhp more than the outgoing K15B, 1.5L petrol engine.

Instead of a 4-speed automatic gearbox, the new 1.5L DualJet petrol will come with a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The new model is expected to be more fuel efficient than its predecessor. It is reportedly to be offered in 6 colour options – Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Arctic White, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver and Grandeur Grey.

2022 Suzuki XL6 Facelift

The new model will come with cosmetic design changes such as revised front grille and bigger alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are likely to be similar to the Suzuki XL7 that’s on sale in Indonesia. Inside the cabin, the new XL6 will get an all-new 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The top-spec model will also receive a segment-first 360 degree camera. The MPV will have four bird eye view cameras, which offers a 3D all around view when parking and driving at low speeds.
