Hyundai has silently rejigged the variant line-up of the Creta for the model year 2022. The 2022 Hyundai Creta has received the iMT transmission for the first time. Moreover, the company has added Knight Editions of the Creta.
The iMT gearbox is offered in a single S variant, which costs Rs 12.67 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This clutchless manual transmission is offered with the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. Hyundai has also discontinued the SX trims of the turbo DCT and Diesel Automatic.
Creta Petrol Prices
The Knight Edition is offered in 4 trims – 1.5P MT S+ (Single-tone/dual tone), 1.5P IVT SX (O) (Single & Dual-tone), 1.5D MT S+ (Single/dual tone) and 1.5D AT SX (O). The Creta Knight range is available in the price bracket of Rs 13.35 lakh to Rs 18.02 lakh.
Besides adding new variants, Hyundai has also increased the prices of the Creta line-up. The prices of the SUV are increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 11,000, depending upon the variant. Hyundai has also added the new S Plus DCT and S Plus DCT dual-tone trims; both the variants are tagged at Rs 15.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
Creta Diesel Prices
Hyundai Creta S iMT Petrol
This variant gets all the features that are accessible in the manual version. It features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4 speakers sound system, LED turn indicators, cruise control, a reverse parking camera, automatic AC, a push start/stop button, a cooled glovebox and others. The 1.5L NA petrol engine is capable of producing 113bhp and 144Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT, a 6-speed iMT and a CVT automatic.
Creta Knight Edition
The Creta Knight Edition comes with a glossy black grille with red inserts, red front brake calipers, dark metal coloured alloys, glossy black finish on the skid plates, side sils, C-pillars, ORVMs and roof-rails. A Knight Edition badge is embossed on the boot lid.
The Creta Knight Edition is offered with a 1.5L NA petrol and a 1.5L turbo-diesel engine. A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard, while an IVT and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic are offered with petrol and diesel respectively.
