Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R in the country. The new model comes with new features and offered in 3 variants – Single Disc, Dual Disc and Stealth Edition. The motorcycle is available in the price bracket of Rs 1.17 lakh to Rs 1.22 Lakh.

The 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R comes with a new gear-position indicator on the instrument panel. It also gets a revised design for the saddle and an integrated grabrail for pillion convenience. The motorcycle continues to offer single-pod headlamp unit, a side-slung exhaust, inverted LCD console with welcome message and adjustable 5 level brightness, side-stand engine cut off, auto sail tech and USB charger.
The new motorcycle is powered by a same 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 15bhp of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 100/80 and 130/70 section front and rear tires respectively.
The single disc variant gets 276mm front disc and 130mm drum brakes. The dual disc and Stealth editions are offered with 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brakes. It gets a single-channel ABS as standard. The motorcycle has 37mm telescopic front forks and a 7-step rider-adjustable monoshock at the rear. In terms of proportions, the motorcycle is 2029mm long, 793mm wide and 1052mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 1327mm. It offers a seat height of 790mm, while the ground clearance stands at 167mm.
The single disc variant has a kerb weight of 138.5kgs, while the dual disc model weighs 139.5kg. It offers a fuel tank of 12-litres capacity. The motorcycle is available in 5 colour options – Xtreme Stealth Edition (Black), Pearl Silver White, Vibrant Blue, Sports Red & 100 million limited edition (Red & White).
