Citroen C3 Deliveries Begin In 19 Cities

Citroen has officially started delivering the new C3 hatchback to customers in the country. The company has started delivering the new model in 19 cities through its La Maison Citroen Phygital showrooms. Launched on July 20, the new Citroen C3 is available in 2 trims – Live and Feel. Offered in 10 exterior colours – 4 mono tone and 6 dual-tone – the new C3 is priced between Rs 5.71 lakh and Rs 8.06 Lakh.

The new Citroen C3 deliveries are currently commenced in these 19 cities – Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Luckhnow, Bhuvneshwar, Surat, Nagpur, Vijag, Calicut and Coimbatore. The company is currently working on expanding its dealership network and deliveries in other cities will commence in near future.

Citroen C3 Interior Revealed

The Citroen C3 is positioned against multiple vehicles including the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Swift and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. It is based on the heavily localised CMP (Common Modular Platform), which will underpin future Citroen cars & SUVs in India. The hatchback comes equipped with a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB chargers, manual AC, digital instrument console and height adjustable driver’s seat.

The entry-level hatchback is offered with two petrol engines – a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol. Paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the naturally-aspirated engine produces 82PS at 5,750rpm and a peak torque of 115Nm at 3,750rpm. The turbo engine produces 110PS and 190Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

It rides on 15-inch steel wheels shod with 195/65 section tyres. The naturally-aspirated engine is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.8kmpl, while the turbo unit offers 19.4kmpl. In terms of proportions, the new Citroen C3 is 3,981mm long, 1,733mm wide and 1,604mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,540mm. The new model is claimed to offer a boot space of 315-litres. The hatchback has a ground clearance of 180mm.
