The American automaker has been testing the new-generation Ford Everest (Ford Endeavour in India) that will debut sometime next year. The model has been caught on camera multiple times during its test rounds in foreign countries. While its world premiere is months away, here’s a latest digital rendering previewing the new 2022 Ford Endeavour in 5 bright colours. The rendered model shares some of its design elements from the Ford Ranger pickup truck.
Upfront, the new Endeavour features a sporty black grille with larger headlamps and C-shaped LED DRLs. The pronounced front skid plate with metallic finish, dual-tone rear view mirrors sporting chrome finish on the top, roof rails in metallic finish and chrome door handles add more to its refreshing looks. The SUV comes with a new set of alloy wheels, blacked-out B and C pillars and updated running boards.
Interior details of the new 2022 Ford Endeavour (Everest) are still under the wraps. Though, the SUV is likely to offer portrait-style SYNC 4 infotainment system with 10 or 12-inch touchscreen as we have seen on the Ranger pick-up truck. Features such as FordPass-operated exterior lighting system, wireless phone charger and a 360 degree camera might also be on offer.
On the engine front, the new Endeavour will offer the same 2.0L turbo and twin-turbo diesel engines. In select markets, the SUV might also be offered with the 3.0L diesel motor delivering power worth 250PS and 600Nm of torque. All engines will be available with the 10-speed and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearboxes. Both 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrain systems will continue to be on offer.
Since Ford has shut down its Indian manufacturing plants, the new 2022 Ford Endeavour might be brought via CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit) route. This will make it pricier than its arch rivals – i.e. MG Gloster and Toyota Fortuner.
