BMW India today announced prices of the new X3 facelift in the country. The model lineup comes in two trims – SportX Plus and M Sport – priced at Rs 59.90 lakh and Rs 65.90 lakh respectively (all, ex-showroom). At this price point, it will continue to take on the Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. The 2022 BMW X3 facelift receives significant changes inside and out. It has been offered solely with a petrol engine. Here’re 9 key details of the updated model.
– The new 2022 BMW X3 features the signature, more prominent grille, new adaptive LED headlamps and a slightly tweaked bumper at the front end.
– The adaptive LED headlamps are now standard across the model lineup.
– The model has been assembled with newly-designed 19-inch alloy wheels and what’s interesting is customers who made pre-bookings will receive it with bigger 20-inch alloys.
– The rear section has been revised with sleeker taillamps featuring new LED inserts and updated bumper.
– One of major changes made inside the cabin is the new free-standing 12.35-inch touchscreen with gesture control and the smaller 10.25-inch unit will be offered on lower variant. Both units have BMW’s virtual assistant.
– The 12.3-inch digital instrument display gets new graphics and its control surfaces have been lower down.
– A new 360 degree camera is reserved for the range-topping M Sport variant.
– The list of features also include a Harman Kardon Sound system (M Sport only), a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, adaptive suspension (M Sport only), hands-free parking, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster (M Sport only) and cruise control.
– As mentioned above, the new 2022 BMW X3 facelift has been made available with a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine only. The motor, with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, delivers a peak power of 252bhp and 350Nm of torque. It gets AWD (all-wheel drive) system as standard.
