Bajaj Auto has launched the new 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 with factory-fitted touring accessories for enhanced touring capabilties. The new model is available at a price tag of Rs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The motorcycle comes with a bigger windshield developed using CFD technology, which is claimed to offer good wind-blast protection and improves overall ride comfort.
The 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 also has jet-fighter inspired handguard with flexi-winglets, which is claimed to offer maximum wind protection. The accessory kit also has a luggage carrier and a back stopper. It has a new engine bash plate with an integrated metal skid plate for better impact protection.
The motorcycle has a new leg guard for better crash protection. It gets a neatly integrated cast aluminium-built navigation stay that allows rier to attach a navigation device and is placed in a manner to avoid blocking any road view. The 2022 Bajaj Dominar also gets a USB charging port. It is offered in two colour options – Aurora Green and Charcoal Black.
It is powered by the same 373.3cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC fuel-injected engine that churns out 40PS of maximum power and 35Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. For suspension duties, the bike gets 43mm USD front forks and monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle has disc brakes along with a dual-channel ABS system.
