The TVS Apache RR 310 is ready to receive an updated in the country. While the bikemaker hasn’t yet revealed its launch date, the updated model is likely to arrive in coming weeks. Based on the BMW 310cc platform, the Apache RR 310 comes powered by the BS6-compliant, 312.2cc engine with a 6-speed gearbox. The single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor has been tuned for making a top power of 33.5bhp and 27.3Nm of troque. The bike offers ride-by-ride throttle with four riding modes, namely, Urban, Rain, Track and Sport. It rides on the new Michelin Road 5 tyres, which replaced the old Michelin Pilot Streets units.
The 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 will continue to feature Glide Through Technology+ that enables ride the bike without feeding any throttle. The same feature is also offered on the Apache RTR 200 4v and RTR 160 4v. The bike’s existing model features dual projector LED headlamp, stylish seats, a large ‘Apache’ moniker running across the fairing and on the fuel tank and LED taillamps along with a new dual-tone paint scheme. The feature list includes a new 5.0-inch colour TFT instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity called – TVS Smart Xconnect. The system allows the rider pair his/her smartphone to the display and access multiple functions via the TVS Connect App. The display shows turn-by-turn navigation, mobile phone statures, health alerts, incoming caller’s details and allows to reject and accept the call.
