TVS has recently trademarked the name ‘Zeppelin R’ for its upcoming cruiser, which is likely to be positioned against the Bajaj Dominar 250. The exact details about the new model are yet to be revealed, but it is likely to come with 250cc or 310cc powerful engine. The concept was equipped with a 220cc, single-cylinder engine coupled with 1,200 watt regenerative assist motor with a 48 volt Lithium-ion battery. The company says that it delivers 20% more torque when needed.

Previous reports suggest that the production-ready Zeppelin could be called the TVS Ronin. The concept had LED headlamp, chiselled fuel tank, split seat, flat-track handlebar and 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels. The motorcycle was equipped with HD action camera, Smart Bio-Key and online connectivity; however, these features are not likely to be offered in the production-ready model.

TVS Motor Company is also working on an all-new naked streetfighter based on the Apache RR 310 fully-faired motorcycle. Likely to be called the Apache RTR 310, the new bike is likely to come with a lot more muscular design compared to the RTR 200 4V. The motorcycle will have conventional LED headlamp instead of the Bi-LED projector unit, flat and wide handlebar, multiple riding mdes, traction control system and adjustable suspension.

The motorcycle will be powered by a 312.2cc single-cylinder reverse-inclined liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 34PS of power and 27.3Nm of torque. This engine also powers the RR 310 fully-faired bike. It will come with dual-channel ABS as standard.
