The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 was spotted in Moscow, Russia. The images confirm that the new model will receive several modern features along with premium and quality interior. The fit and finish and overall quality seems significantly improved over the previous model. It features a new larger 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. The SUV will also receive connected car technology.
The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 gets a new multi-spoke steering wheel, digital instrument console and climate control. The SUV is expected to get heated and ventilated front seats. There are physical buttons for adaptive cruise control, lane support, differential lock and 4WD mode along with different driving modes. Like the new-breed of cars, the new Land Cruiser gets electronic parking brake and wireless phone charging. The new model also gets a push start/stop button with a fingerprint scanner.
The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series is likely to be powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol hybrid engine. This engine also powers the Lexus LX500 premium sedan. It is capable of producing 416bhp of power and 600Nm of torque. The SUV is also expected to get a 3.3-litre 6-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. A 10-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox will drive the power to the 4 wheels via a low range transfer case.
In some markets, the new model could receive a new 2.8-litre 4-cylinder DOHC, 16-valve common rail diesel engine. This engine produces 200bhp of power at 3,000-3,400rpm and 500Nm of torque at 1,600-2,800rpm. The new model will also receive significant design changes in the form of a large horizontal four-slot grille and tri-beam projector LED headlamps with integrated DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps) at front. The SUV also shares some of the styling elements from the RAV4.
