2021 Tata Tiago NRG Launching Tomorrow: Price Expectation

The 2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. The launch event will take place online due to COVID-19 pandemic. Tata Motors has already started dispatching the new Tiago NRG to dealerships across the country. In fact, pictures of the hatchback at dealership yard have also been leaked on the web.

The BS4-compliant Tata Tiago NRG was retailed between Rs 5.70 lakh and Rs 6.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With some changes and added features, the BSVI compliant model is expected to cost around 30,000 to 50,000 more. The new model will is likely to be priced around Rs 6 lakh to Rs 7 lakh.

2021 Tata Tiago NRG Spied

The company has officially revealed that the 2021 Tata Tiago NRG will come in a new Green colour scheme with blacked out ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) and roof. Earlier, the hatchback was offered in 3 paint schemes – Fuji White, Malabar Silver and Canyon Orange.

The new Tiago NRG is basically the sporty version of the hatchback. It will come with few noticeable changes inside and out along with BSVI compliant engine. The spy images reveal that the hatchback will come with a blacked-out front grille, black plastic cladding all-around the body, and new 14-inch alloy wheels. The hatchback’s tailgate will get black insert and a prominent NRG badge on the rear section.

2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift

The 2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift will come with a rear view camera. Inside the cabin, the hatchback will come with modern features such as an engine start-stop button, a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument console and black treatment on the dashboard and central console. The cross-hatch will also get height adjustable driver seat, power assisted and tilt adjustable steering, electrically adjustable ORVMs, remote locking, etc.

The previous Tata Tiago NRG was equipped with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.05-litre NA diesel. In the BSVI avatar, the crossover-hatch will get the BSVI compliant 1.2-litre 3-cylinder NA petrol engine that produces 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.
