2021 Skoda Superb has been launched with a few cosmetic enhancements and feature upgrades in the country. However, no mechanical changes have been made to the luxury sedan. In terms of features, the new Superb receives an updated operating system (OS) for the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with new features, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, an updated virtual cockpit, a 360 degree camera and USB-C type charging port.
While the 2021 Skoda Superb Sportline variant comes with a new three-spoke steering wheel, the L&K trim gets flat-bottom two-spoke unit. The latter one also gets steering integrated parking assist controls. The new model has a piano black decor with Stone Beige or Coffee Brown perforated leather upholstery. The Sportline gets black Alcantara sports seats with integrated headrests and the paddle shifters. Exterior design and styling remains intact. The new 2021 Skoda Superb features the same signature butterfly grille with chrome surrounding, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, body coloured ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators, alloy wheels and LED taillamps connected via chrome bar. The luxury sedan also offers adaptive front lighting system for better on-road visibility.
Under the hood, the updated Superb employs the same 2.0L, 4-cylinder TSI turbocharged petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The motor pushes out a peak power of 187bhp and 320Nm of torque.
