In order to commemorate its 10th Anniversary, the French automaker has introduced the new 2021 Renault Kwid hatchback model lineup. Prices of the updated version start from Rs 4.06 lakh for the entry-level RXE 0.8L variant and go up to Rs 5.51 lakh for the range-topping Climber 1.0L Easy-R (O) variant. The hatchback received a few new comfort and safety features, while the design, dimension and engine setup remain unchanged.
All variants of the new Renault Kwid 2021 are available with dual front airbags, thus making it comply with the new safety norms. The updated model also comes with the front driver side pyrotech & pretensioner. The standard safety kit of the Kwid includes rear sensors, a speed-alert system, seatbelt reminder, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution).

The new 2021 Renault Kwid Climber is now available in dual-tone colour scheme – White with Black roof. It also gets electric ORVM and day and night IRVM. Features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a rear seat armrest and rear parking camera are continue to be reserved for higher trims.
As mentioned above, no changes have been made under the hood. The 2021 Renault Kwid continues to come with the 0.8L, 3-cylinder petrol and 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol engine options. While the former makes a peak power of 54bhp with 72Nm of torque, the latter is good enough for 68bhp with 91Nm. The 1.0L variants can be had with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The 0.8L petrol engine is available with the 5-speed manual transmission only.
Renault India has also announced special offers on select variants across its product range. Customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 80,000 while purchasing new Renault vehicle in the month of September, 2021. Additionally, there are 10 unique Loyalty Rewards with maximum benefits of up to Rs 110,000, which are said to be over and above the regular consumer offers.
