2021 Mahindra Bolero NEO (TUV300 Facelift) – What To Expect?

We have reported earlier that Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to introduce the Bolero NEO SUV sometime this year. According to a fresh media report, the 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo will be the TUV300 facelift that was recently caught during its TVC shoot in Maharashtra. Just so you know, the Mahindra TUV300 was first launched in September 2015, followed by the bigger TUV300 Plus in 2018. With the implementation of BS6 emission regulations, the model went off sale in 2020.

The spotted model carries Mahindra Bolero Neo badge along with the sharper silhouette than before. Most of the changes are visible at the front end including a new chrome grille and a more trapezoidal air dam. The fog lamp assembly has also been repositioned. The model retains the old-school station wagon looks, thanks to its extended rear overhang with a sloping D-pillar. You can also notice the slightly tweaked rear bumper and updated taillamps.

Interior details of the 2021 Mahindra Neo (2021 Mahindra TUV300 facelift) are still under the wraps. Though, it’s likely to receive a new infotainment system with latest smartphone connectivity. If offered, this feature will be reserved for the higher trims. The dashboard design could be change and the material quality might also be classed-up. Most of the features are likely to be carried forward from the current model including 4-speaker audio system, driver and co-driver seat lumbar support, GPS navigation, reverse parking sensors and camera, leatherette upholstery, power steering with tilt, single zone HVAC with heater, power windows, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Isofix child seat mounts, seat belt reminder and more.

Under the hood, the 2021 Mahindra Neo (2021 Mahindra TUV300 facelift) is likely to employ the BS6-compliant 1.5L, 3-cylinder mHawk diesel motor. The oil burner pushes out a peak power of 100bhp and 240Nm of torque. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT transmission.
