2021 KTM 125 Duke has finally been launched in India at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company says that the bike delivers “maximum riding fun that punches way above its displacement”. The bike comes in a choice of two colour schemes – Ceramic White and Electronic Orange. The new model receives updated suspension setup that includes a 43mm WP upside down fork at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear.
Stopping power comes from a 300mm and a 230mm disc front and rear brakes respectively. It also gets a single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). For power, the 2021 KTM 125 Duke uses the BS6-compliant 124.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motor has been tuned for generating power worth 14.3bhp at 9,250rpm and 12Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.
Design and styling of the new 2021 KTM Duke 125 is inspired by the bigger 1290 Super Duke. Just like the larger capacity motorcycles, the updated Duke 125 underpins the split trellis frame. It features a halogen headlamp, new rider and pillion seats and better ergonomics. Its fuel tank capacity has been increased to 13.5-litres. The bike also offers a digital instrument cluster.
