2020 Honda Grazia BS6 – Possible Changes and Details

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has recently released teaser video of the upcoming, 2020 Honda Grazia BS6 compliant scooter. This suggests that the updated scooter could be launched in the next few days. The teaser video also reveals some of the features of the 125cc scooter.

The 2020 Honda Grazia BS6 will come with some design changes to keep things fresh in the market. The updated scooter is expected to receive new LED daytime running lights and the dual-tone paint scheme. There will be carbon-fibre texture around the instrument console. Rest of the scooter is not likely to receive major changes.

The teaser also reveals that the instrument console will receive some changes in terms of information display. It will feature a side-stand warning in the primary display. On the other hand, the secondary display will show available range and will have blue backlight instead of the orange backlight in the BS4 model.

The 2020 Honda Grazia BS6 will be powered by the 124cc engine that also powers the BS6 compliant Activa 125. This engine is capable of producing 8.1bhp of power at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.3Nm at 5,000rpm. The BS4 Grazia offers 8.52bhp and 10.54Nm of torque. Suspension mechanism of the bike comprises of telescopic forks at the front and spring-loaded hydraulic type at the rear. For braking duties, the 125cc scooter will have drum brakes as standard. The premium variant will receive front disc brake. The scooter features 12-inch front wheel and 10-inch rear wheel.

The 2020 Honda Grazia BS6 is likely to receive a price hike of around Rs 6,000 to 8,000. The BS4-compliant standard version was available at Rs 62,000, while the Delux variant was priced at Rs 66,000. The BS6 compliant model is likely to be priced around 70,000.
