2 New Kabira Mobility High-Speed Electric Bikes Launching On Feb 15

Goa-based electric vehicle (EV) start-up, Kabira Mobility has teased two new high-speed electric motorcycles for the Indian market. The two new e-bikes – KM 3000 and KM 4000, will be launched in the country on February 15, 2021. Interested buyers can pre-book the new high-speed electric bikes on the company’s official website.

According to the teaser images, the KM 3000 will be a fully-faired electric sportbike. On the other hand, the KM 4000 will be a naked electric street bike. The new Kabira electric bikes are built on a redesigned chassis and features combi-brakes. The new bikes are claimed to offer industry-leading range, fast onboard charging, park assist, fireproof battery and other features.

Kabira Mobility claims that the new electric motorcycles come with modern design. The bikes feature a DeltaEV BLDC hub electric motor. The new KM 3000 and KM 4000 are claimed to offer a top speed of 120kmph along with a riding range of 150km on a single charge. The company will also give Roadside Assistance (RSA) to its customers.

Introduced in 2017 in Goa, Kabira Mobility started its operation last year, at the 2020 Auto Expo. The company had introduced 6 electric scooters – Kollegio, Kollegio Neo, Kollegio Plus, Intercity Aeolus, Intercity Neo and Aetos 100 at the biennial event. These scooters offer a top speed of 24kmph and a range of around 90-100km. With these high-performance bikes, Kabira Mobility aims to expand its portfolio. Kabira has two manufacturing plans – Goa and Dharwad. The company is also setting up a new production plant, which is claimed to be India’s largest electric vehicle manufacturing facility at Dharwad. This facility will have a monthly production capacity of 75,000 unit. 

Kabira Mobility claims that its R&D team spent 2 years developing the new electric bikes. Commenting on the upcoming bikes, Jaibir Siwach, CEO of Kabira Mobility said, “These electric bikes were a distant vision when we started our product development journey in Goa in 2017, but they are now a reality and have turned out to be more magnificent than what we had imagined.”
