2 New 7-Seater SUVs Launching In Coming Months

The coming months will surely be exciting for automobile enthusiasts as several new car launches have been planned across different segments. If you are planning to buy a 7-seater family car/SUV, there will be two upcoming new models that could prove to be a good choice. While the South Korean carmaker is gearing up to launch the Hyundai Alcazar 7-seater SUV in May, Mahindra & Mahindra will introduce the second-generation XUV500 before 2021 Diwali season.

The Hyundai Alcazar, which is essentially the bigger and premium version of the Creta 5-seater, will make its first public appearance on coming 6th April. It will be made available in two seating configurations – 6-seats and 7-seats. A few cosmetic changes have been made to the Alcazar to distinguish it from its younger sibling. The three-row SUV has newly-designed grille and front bumper, a flatter roof, tweaked LED taillamps, extended overhangs and new tailgate.

Interior will also be packed with some extra goodies. The upcoming Hyundai 7-seater SUV is reported to come with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), BlueLink connected car technology, a 360 degree camera and automatic AC unit. Rest of its features will be carried forward from the 5-seater Creta. Similar to the Creta, the Hyundai Alcazar will come with the 1.4L turbo petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engine options.

The 2021 Mahindra XUV500 will certainly be more upmarket than the current generation. The spy pictures confirm that the SUV will receive Mercedes-benz inspired dual screen display working as a touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument console. It will also come with the ADAS technology along with a 3D panoramic vision for driver, wireless charging, connected car technology, a 360 degree camera, an eyelid tracking mechanism, leather upholstery and powered front seats.
